Microscale Chemistry Experimentation (MCE)

MicrEcol  (Micro = smallEcol = ecology) describes a new access to chemistry.

Experimentation starts with small children that do not yet know what chemistry means. It goes on with integrated science in primary school. Microscale Chemistry experiments are proposed to beginners in chemistry and others who are ready to re-start with this unpopular subject.

                                                 Target groups:

Kindergarten (under 6)      GeneralScience        Start of Chemistry

  • Micro means the materials and quantities used for experiments are small: 5-mL ampoules, 1-mL syringes, pipettes, single drops or microdrops.
  • Ecol means that the environment is explored: Water, air, food, soil.
By re-using packages for the experiments raw materials are saved. This protects our environment and saves money.

In the context of this homepage microscale means quantities of reactants in the volume range between 0.05 mL (micro drop) and 60 mL (gases).

  This homepage is under revision

Revision starts with "about me", goes on with "Microscale family"...

The experiments are supplemented by my videoclips with bilingual texts on youtube.
